About PataskalaOH.com

What this is

PataskalaOH.com is a privately owned local media and community platform. We focus on three things: helping residents find out what is happening locally, building a future space for community connection, and giving local businesses a way to reach the people who live here.

Residents use it free. Businesses are the customers. That arrangement is deliberate, and we would rather say it plainly than pretend otherwise.

What this is not

PataskalaOH.com is an independent community platform and is not affiliated with the City of Pataskala.

• We are not a government website and we do not speak for the city.
• We are not the chamber of commerce or a tourism board.
• We are not a re-publisher of someone else’s directory.

How we handle paid placement

Some things on this site are paid for. Featured partners, sponsored stories, promoted deals and advertisements are all labelled where they appear. We do not let a paid placement pretend to be an independent recommendation, because an audience that stops trusting the site is worth nothing to an advertiser either.

Sources and corrections

Local-government and civic information on this site is checked against official records where practical. If you find an error or a source that has changed, tell us through the Contact page so we can review it.

Where this goes next

Pataskala is the first market. The platform is built so other communities in Licking County and beyond can run on the same foundation without rebuilding anything — same directory, same community tools, their own town.
